Dr. Diana Scruggs is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing telehealth psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and adults throughout Florida.

Her approach is evidence-based, holistic, and individualized. She looks beyond symptoms and diagnoses to understand the whole person and believes patients should feel informed, comfortable asking questions, and actively involved in decisions about their care.

Dr. Scruggs earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing in Psychiatric Mental Health from Frontier Nursing University. Her clinical background spans psychiatric mental health, maternal health, primary care, and special needs pediatrics. She also served with the Developing Brain Research Laboratory at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., contributing to her interest in neurodevelopment and brain health.

Her clinical interests include pediatric and adult mental health, anxiety and mood disorders, ADHD, obsessive-compulsive and related conditions, neurodevelopmental and neurodivergent presentations, maternal mental health, and addiction treatment. She provides psychiatric medication management as well as buprenorphine/naloxone (Suboxone) treatment for opioid use disorder when clinically appropriate.
